The Walton County Council on Aging was incorporated in October 1967 under the name Walton County Citizens Advisory Council on Aging, Inc. We received our tax-exempt status as a 501-(c) (4) in October 1969 & updated to a 501-(c) (3) in October 2002.
Our funding & sponsorship is by State of Florida, Department of Elder Affairs, Northwest Florida Area Agency on Aging Inc., Walton County, United Way and Private Donations.
Starting on 1 November, The Council on Aging has started to service the Okaloosa County also
